On the ancient staircase leading to the Parish Church, just a step away from Piazza Motta, you will find the Ristorante e Bistrot La Motta, once an art gallery and, in even more remote times, during the Lombard era, a fortified house that hosted the garrison defending the Castle of the Island of San Giulio. Here you will be welcomed as if at home by Vittorio and the entire staff in the fully renovated family building, enhanced with many design objects and furnishings. The restaurant has two romantic and intimate rooms, a tavern that invites you to taste wines, as well as a splendid terrace, perfect for lunch and summer evenings. For lunch, the menu is enriched every day with a new dish recommended by chef Enrico Giromini and fun street food-style options. The menu features lake fish, always available, meats and products that are almost exclusively from Piedmont. The wines are selected by expert Aldo Rigotti, mainly from Piedmont.
